Summer went, summer passed, summer is ending... at the end of summer and start of fall, it's the apple season in Quebec. We have a custom here that brings a lot of famillies in the orchards to pick up apples in the trees. It's a nice moment to share with friends and families and lots of people are spending at least a day outside, eating apples directly from the trees as well as grabbing some to bring them back home.
We were at the orchard and there was already a few trees totally empty from apples. Not that the season wasn't good (totally the opposite) but mostly because it started early this year and some parts of the orchard were already cleaned up by the orchard's staff and visitors.
I could capture a peaceful moment there with the nice and still hot summer light in the branches and leaves. Enjoy and imagine the birds singing above and the slight murmur of kids playing somewhere further in the plantation under the watch of their parents picking up apples in the trees or just chatting together. All the sounds nicely mixed with the wind singing in the vegetation but dampened by the density of the trees.

sweet mercy! it's like the trees have co-ordinated themselves into an artistic pose. Hooray for random chaos of nature! Truth is always stranger (and more interesting) than fiction
